We are a forward-thinking, thriving primary school, situated in the heart of the village of Burneston, on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales and welcoming families from Burneston and surrounding villages.
As a Church of England school, we have firm foundations in our Christian Values of Perseverance, Wisdom, Respect, Compassion, Fellowship and Trust. These values intertwine with our school Vision: Celebrate, Collaborate, Pollinate.
Together our Vision and Values support a dynamic and engaging curriculum, which has been carefully tailored to our children’s strengths and needs.
Our school site is fantastic – the children have access to large grounds which include an orchard, wildlife area, pond and a wide range of playground equipment.
Classrooms are bright, roomy and well resourced with up to date ICT equipment which support and engage our learners.
Before and after school care is enjoyed by pupils and working parents alike.
We are very proud of our library too! Staff, Governors, pupils, parents and carers work together to support our children to be the very best they can be, creating a ‘family’ feel and a warm, welcoming atmosphere in our school.
